Q.) What is a Virtual Server?
A.) A Physical Machine (dedicated server) subdivided into multiple and separate "virtual" systems. Since one single machine can host multiple Virtual Servers, the cost of each individual Virtual Server is significantly less than the cost of a dedicated server. All this without sacrificing performance, flexibility, and power. We have designed our Virtual Servers to maximize customer control, and design of their own web site.
Q.) What is a Dedicated Server?
A.) A Dedicated server is a physical machine used for very large demand web sites, requiring hundreds of megabytes, millions of hits, and high reliability. Dedicated servers also allow you to host hundreds of virtual domain accounts.
Q.) What kind of connectivity do you have to the Internet?
A.) We are connected to the Internet via fully redundant, dedicated, multiple T3 connections through UUNET and Sprint, as well as an OC-3 Fiber Optic link to Level (3) Communications. We have three full Transit backbone connections so that, if one goes down, the others can reroute the traffic in seconds while we restore the downed connection–all without the slightest interruption in performance.
Q.) How long does it take to register a domain name?
A.) Registering the .com, .net, and .org top level domain names typically takes one to two business days. We will assist you in registering your domain name when you order a Web Site, Virtual Server. See our Domain Name registration page located at: http://domain.rshweb.com

Q.) Do you also host International Domain Names and do you have a list of international domain registrars?
A.) Yes. You will have to register your Domain Name in your country, if you need any help with this we will be glad to assist you. For more information see our International Domain Names page.
Q.) What are your Primary and Secondary name servers?
A.) RSH Web Services actually has three name servers. Although for registering or transferring domains ending in .com .net .org and 95% of all other domain names only two are needed

Secondary name server domain: NS2.DNSRSH.NET
Secondary name server IP: 70.85.6.232
Q.) How long does it take to setup a new Web Site, or Virtual Server?
A.) New accounts for first time customers typically take one to two business days while we verify billing information and secure agreements.
